Barrington Racquet Club has seasonal openings for Lifeguards. The first priority of a Lifeguard is to monitor the safety and well-being of patrons at the pool. They must be able to communicate directions, rules, regulations, etc. to patrons. In addition, the employee must maintain a safe environment by cleaning the pool area daily. Lifeguard employees need to have the ability to recognize and remove any safety hazards immediately and respond to emergencies appropriately. Additional duties include teaching swim lessons, learning basic water chemistry, and develop an understanding of pool maintenance equipment.

Qualified applicants must be at least 15 years of age and possess the following credentials: American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and AED Certifications. Those applicants under the age of 18 must provide a work permit, which may be obtained through your High School, at the time of hire.

We are seeking a part-time Poolside Server to join our team! This position is responsible for providing exceptional Food & Beverage service to our Club members and guests. Previous experience is a plus. Must be available to work flexible hours.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet Members & Guests and provide a full-service experience.
• Take orders from members, transmit orders to the kitchen, and pick up and serve the order.
• Provide efficient and personalized service to all Members & Guests.
• Ensure that all pool service areas are clean and presentable.
• Must display a positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
